Biography

He was injured at El Alamein - a sniper shot at him as he was drinking from a water bottle - had he not tipped his head back he would have been killed.

he returned to australia but died young (1970's) - his doctor told his wife that the war had taken 20 years off his life.

Written by his great niece, based on family history.
