Son of William Alfred James Caskey, and Ellen Kathrine Caskey, of Dry Creek, South Australia.

Mr. and Mrs. W. A. J. Caskey, of Burford Gardens, Dry Creek, have been advised that their youngest son. Pte. Jim Caskey. died at Charters Towers military hospital on November 8. He was educated at Abattoirs and Braund road schools, and played football for Kilburn. In June. 1940, he enlisted with the AIF and saw action in the Middle East and New Guinea areas. Before his enlistment he was employed by W. H. Burford & Sons. Dry Creek.
