Biography

"...SX6432 Private Lindsay James Burton, 2/10 Battalion. Pte Burton was born in Waikerie, South Australia, and enlisted on 22 June 1940 at the age of 21. The 2/10th's final engagement in Papua was at Sanananda between 9 and 24 January 1943. Lance Corporal Burton was killed in action on 17 January 1943.
