"LATE PTE. HEDLEY TREVILYAN.

BURRA, June 30.— Mr. and Mrs. John Trevilyan, of Mount Bryan, received advice on Wednesday thet their, son, Pte. Hedley Trevilyan had been killed on June 9, while on active service abroad. He enlisted from Burra. Much sorrow is felt for his parents, who were former residents of Aberdeen. The deceased had been engaged in various pursuits at Mount Bryan prior to enlisting, and was generally popular." - from the Adelaide Observer 08 Jul 1916 (nla.gov.au)
