Son of William John Faux and Lucy Ann Faux nee Hart of Pittsworth, QLD. Brother of George Parson Faux who returned to Australia on the 22 August 1919 having served with the 31st Battalion, Ellen Dawson nee Faux and Mary Margaret Faux

Next of kin given as his sister Ellen Dawson of St Helen's, Goonawindi, QLD

Commenced return to Australia on 5 September 1919 aboard SS Plassy disemarking on the 31 October 1919
