Son of Richard George and Rosina May Stringer, of Arno Bay, South Australia.
IN LOVING MEMORY OF OUR DEAR SON AND BROTHER
Pte. V. E. Stringer, the first volunteer from the Arno Bay district, was killed in action on July 22. He was the fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Stringer, of Arno Bay. and enlisted in May. 1940, leaving for overseas the following November. He was 21. A brother. Pat Stringer, is serving abroad with the A.I.F.
