Promoted to Corporal whilst serving in Middle East, and Sergeant whilst serving in Borneo.
He was 5 feet 8 1/2 inches tall, with grey eyes, medium complexion and auburn hair. Prior to serving he was a Packer and lived at Nangari, SA.
