Son of Thomas O'Mahony and Annie O'Mahnoy of the Railway Hotel, County Cork, Ireland
Next of kin given as his sister J Mahony, Carrigeling Hotel, County Cork, Ireland.
Commenced return to Australia on 4 August 1915 aboard HT Port Lincoln disembarking on 2 September 1915 after which he deserted on 7 November 1915.
