Son of Thomas O'Shea and Mary Ann O'Shea nee Langihan of Victoria
Next of kin given as his cousin Mrs Kendlar of Rathdown Street, Carlton, Victoria later given as his sister Jane O'Shea of Collins Street, Kalgoorlie, WA.
Commenced return to Australia (first time)on 21 January 1916 aboard HT Commonwealth disembarking on 29 February 1916
Disembarked at Durban, South Africa on 29 June 1917 due to sickness he later commenced return to Australia (second time) on 3 August 1917 aboard HS Karoola disembarking on 18 August 1917 at Fremantle, WA for onward travel to Melbourne aboard HT Berrima.
