Victor Ingleby WARHURST was born in Hyde Park, South Australia on 22nd January, 1918

His parents were Victor Arnold WARHURST & Olive Drew SHARLAND

He married Joan Shirley VERCO in Christ Church in North Adelaide in 1940 - one daughter Patricia who never met her Father

He had graduated from the Royal Military College in Duntroon & enlisted in Paddington, Sydney on 12th November, 1940

Victor was Killed in Action in Malaya on 11th February, 1942 - no known grave

His name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial & the Singapore (Kranji) Memorial

His twin brother Raymond Wilfred WARHURST (SN SX 1735) also served during WW2 as a Lieutenant and was discharged on 9th October, 1945
