Son of Ernest Oscar and Florence Ethelwyne Bowman; husband of Eva May Bowman of Yorketown, South Australia.

BENEATH THE CROSS OF SACRIFICE LAIN TO REST BY HIS COMRADES

Private Stanley Bowman, 34, of Stansbury has died of wounds on active service.  He was the triplet son of Mr. and Mrs. E.O. Bowman, of Maitland, and enlisted in July, 1940, leaving for overseas last March.  A sister (Kath) is abroad with the Army Nurses.  Private Bowman is survived by his widow and four children.

BOWMAN.—On the 12th of August, died of wounds (in action), Pte. Stanley Bowman, dearly beloved husband of Eva M. Bowman, Stansbury, Y.P., loving daddy of Bryan, Stanley, Ein, Ernette, aged 34 years.

His  duty was nobly done. Deep down in our hearts, we shall always be thinking of thee, dear Stan.

BOWMAN.—On the 12th of August, died of wounds (in action), our dear son-in-law, Pte. Stanley Bowman.—Ever remembered by Mr. and Mrs. Campain.
