Dudley Athelstan ANNEAR was born in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia on 11th May, 1910

His parents were John Henry ANNEAR & Ada Eva Frances CHAPPLE

He was listed as missing in action which was changed to Killed in Action in Malaya on 14th February, 1942 - no known grave

His brother Richard Winston (Win) ANNEAR (SN WX13468) was also in the 2nd/4th Machine Gun Battalion and was taken prisoner of war - he was discharged from the Army on 26th February, 1946
