First child of Arthur William and Ruby Edith ARGALL, of Kiata, Vic.

Jim attended the Woraigworm State School 2619 for his education, and worked on the family farm until he enlisted.  He served in Egypt where he was killed in action at El Almein on 24 October 1942, and is buried in the War Cemetery at Cairo, Egypt.

He was unmarried.
