Clyde Maxwell Chester BAKER was born in Colac, Victoria on 14th December, 1912
His parents were Chester Maniford BAKER & Ethel Sarah Lillian GROOM
He married Lily Mary KENDALL in Victoria in 1939
He enlisted in Colac on 21th May, 1942 - last rank was Acting Sergeant in the Motor Vehicle Trade Training Cemtre School (Victorian Line of Command)
Clyde died from accidental injuries (fractured skull) in Heidelberg, Victoria on 21st September, 1942 and is buried in the Colac Cemetery
