BARNES. — A tribute of love and honour to my Husband, QX55933, Cpl. Cleve Barnes, 25th Inf. Bn., accidentally killed on  Bougainville Island, 25/2/45.
Always remembered
BARNES — in proud and loving memory of QX55933, Cpl. Cleve, beloved Son, Brother, Brother-in-law, and Uncle, who lost his  life on Bougainvlile Island, 25th February, 1945
To the end of life's span thy vision
we'll hold,
Like a bright star to guide us when
sorrows enfold,
Though the vison of thy life is ex
tinguished this day,
Thy spirit still lives, forever and aye.
