Lindon Frederick Beves BARRETT was born in Manly, NSW on 5th May, 1922

His parents were Frederick William BARRETT & Vera Elaine BEVES who married in Sydney in 1912

He enlisted in Sydney with the RAAF on 15th June, 1942 - last rank was a Flying Officer with the 466 Squadron

Lindon died in a Flying Battle in Germany on 16th January, 1945 and is buried in the Berlin 1939-1945 War Cemetery

His brother Alwyn Walter Beves BARRETT (SN 421233) also served during WW2 in the RAAF and died on 6th December, 1943 in the Bay of Biscay, Altantic Ocean - his last unit was the 172 Squadron
