Son of Ernest George Tobias Blackford and Georgina Amelia Blackford, of Northgate, Queensland, Australia.
HIS DUTY FEARLESSLY AND NOBLY DONE. EVER REMEMBERED
Pilot Officer W. F. (Jack) Blackford, second son of Mr and Mrs E. Blackford, of Northgate, is reported missing in air operations over Pola, Italy, on March 8. Before enlisting in the Air Force he was employed as a typewriter mechanic by Chartres.
