BRASINGTON.—February 21, 1944, 423217, F./Sgt. George Charles, R.A.A.F., beloved only son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Brasington, and darling brother of Phoebe, of 49 Correy Avenue,  Concord, who lost his life in air operations at Frisians Islands, buried in grave No. 468 Borkum Island, Germany, aged 20½ years.

George Charles BRASINGTON was born in Auburn, NSW on 23rd August, 1923

His parents were George Oswald BRASINGTON & Bessie Pretoria JEFFERY who married in Sydney in 1921

He was listed as missing and an aircraft operation in a flying battle in Germany on 22nd February, 1944 & us buried in the Sage War Cemetery

His father George Oswald BRASINGTON (SN 2155) served during WW1 and returned to Australia in 1919 ( he served in the 2nd Field Artillery Brigade & 7th Light Horse Regiment)
