Sergeant David Stuart Brown 401489 of 75SQN RAAF was down over Lae in Kittyhawk A29-38 on the 11th of April 1942

He became a Prisoner of War and was taken to Rabaul where he was executed on the 26th of May 1942 by Japanese personnel at the Matupi Harbour installation
