Corporal Brownjohn 34214 RAAF and LAC Taylor 65276 RAAF from Number 2 Aircraft Depot at Richmond were killed when De Havilland Dragon aircraft A34-65 crashed at Mount Druitt in NSW

Also killed were Warrant Officer Ian Castles Powell 1313994 RAF / Pilot Officer Kenneth Arthur Henry Biggs 185353 RAF / Pilot Officer George Ashurst 187809 RAF
