Pearcey Harold CARLESS was born at Dunolly, Victoria on 16th June, 1914

His parents were Frederick Walter CARLESS & Ellen MASON

He married Emilia Edith Joyce WALLIS in Perth, WA in 1940 - one child Lynette

He enlisted in Claremont, WA on 15th January, 1942 - he  served in the Middle East & then proceeded to New Guinea

Pearcey was Killed in Action in New Guinea on 26th November, 1943 - he is buried in Lae War Cemetery & his name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial & the Roll of Honour in Perth, WA
