Miss Lesley Carlon, of "Coodra." Yass, has received a telegram from the Minister for Air, stating that her brother, Flt.-Sgt. Patrick John Paul Carlon, is missing as a result of air operations on February 24. The known details are that he was a member of the crew of a Halifax aircraft detailed to attack an enemy target in the Neuss area, Germany, which failed to return to base. Sgt. Carlon is a grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John McInerney, of Cowper Street.
