His parents were John Bernard CASSIDY & Mary Elizabeth HAYES who married in Yass in 1898
He married Irene Johanna LEE in Sydney in 1940
Clarence died in Malaya (presumed) on 22nd January, 1942 - no known grave
His name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial & the Singapore Memorial in Kranji Cemetery
