Ralph Beverley CASSIDY was born in Ilford, NSW on 22nd February, 1911
His parents were John Wilson CASSIDY & Mary Catherine SMITH
He married Audrey Rose PAULL on 10th October, 1940 - one known son Jon Michael
He enlisted in Sydney on 24th May, 1941 with the Royal Australian Air Force as Air Crew
Ralph died at Mallacoota, Victoria on 2nd November, 1942 when the Avro Ansen DG919 aircraft he was in crashed when it overshot the runway into a quarry, 3 bombs on board exploded with the impact - he was with the 6 Service Flying Training school at Mallala with rank of Sergeant on his death (Wireless Air Gunner)
He is buried in the Bairnsdale War Cemetery in Victoria
IN MEMORY
