Parents: - Ocean Carl Chelman and Florence Emmaline Walbridge married 20th June 1906 in Port Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia.

Aircraftman 1st Class William Ossian Chelman was killed in Air Operations aboard No. 10 Squadron Short Sunderland aircraft W4019 over the Bay of Biscay, on 8th August 1942.
