Nurden Anderson CHOWNS was born in Murgon, Queensland on 27th November, 1923

His parents were Francis CHOWNS & Helena Nell ANDERSON

He first enlisted in the Army during WW2 and was discharged 3 months later to join the Air Force on 20th June 1942

He died in an accidental air crash in the Northern Territory of Australia on 27th Jnaury, 1945 and is buried in the Adelaide River War Cemetery - the plane was a PV-1 Ventura A59-84
