TOO CLOSE FOR EVEN DEATH TO PART
The Mayor (Alderman Jones) drew attention, at the last meeting of the Rockdale Council, to the fact that Sergeant G. N. Church, who had previously been reported missing, was now presumed dead. It was decided to send a letter of sympathy, and a minute's silence was observed as a mark of respect.
