Age 37,drowned during the evacuation of Crete on 29th May 1941.

He was the son of Mr and Mrs Frederick William Cockrill and the husband of Lillian R Cockrill of Plympton NSW.

He is commemorated on the Athens Memorial. Face 11 AWM
