Ronald Harry COOK (VX37490), a Trombone player from Moreland Corps Band, aged 19, single, and previously a clerk, enlisted at the Victoria Street Drill Hall on 15 July 1940. Cook was inducted into the AIF at Royal Park on 22 July 1940. “Ron" Cook was also a member of The Salvation Army’s premier band located in Melbourne, the Territorial Staff Band.
