His parents were Lionel Ernest COOKE & Ellen Beulah Perry DE BARLOW who married in Victoria in 1917

He married Betty Mosman HARRISON in St Thomas Church in North Sydney on 13th July, 1940 - one son David Rolla COOKE who was born the month after Rolla died
