Hilson Christopher Newton DALY was born in Strathfield in Sydney on 30th September, 1908
His parents were Edwin Newton DALY & Ethel Louise PIGOTT who married in Sydney on 3rd January, 1907
He married Dora Margaret FULLAGER in St Annes Church in Strathfield on 1st October, 1942

Wing Commander Hilson Christopher Newtown Daly 260354 was killed when Boomerang A46-149 of 4SQN RAAF crashed in New Guinea while on an armed reconnaissance along the Little Ramu river in the Angetji area
The wreckage was located in October 1945 by a patrol officer and Wing Commander Daly was buried with full military honours
