Herbert Samuel DELACOUR was born on 27th July, 1923 at Charters Towers, Queensland

His parents were John Herbert DELACOUR and Mary Elizabeth WHERRY  who married on 24th April, 1920 in Queensland

He is buried at Bathmen General Cemetery in the Netherlands

Inscription on his headstone reads:

"HIS DUTY NOBLY & FEARLESSLY DONE - EVER REMEMBERED"
