"...WX7410 Lieutenant Reg Dewar of Cottesloe, WA. A printer before enlisting in the Second AIF in August 1940, Lt Dewar served in the 2/11 Battalion in the Middle East and Pacific campaigns. He was killed in action at Niap, east of the Danmap River, New Guinea, on 7 January 1945, age 30." - SOURCE (
