Mrs. P. Dodd, of Gilgandra, received word yesterday from Dubbo that Private C. Everson was reported missing from the 29th January and believed killed. Private Everson, who is a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Everson, of Railway Street, was with the A. I. F. in Malaya.
Word has been received in Gilgandra by Mr. and Mrs. Everson, that their son, Private Clarrie Everson, is a prisoner of war. He served in the Malayan campaign. It had previously been reported, that Private Everson had been killed in action.
