Son of Frederick William and Beatrice Felhaber; husband of Gladys Christene Felhaber, of Rockhampton, Queensland.
HE GAVE HIS LIFE THAT WE MAY ENJOY PEACE
FELHABER.- In memory of our workmate, Pte F. W. (Fred) Felhaber, AIF, who was recently killed in action in New Guinea.
Duty called him and he was there
To do his bit and take his share.
His spirit true, his heart was brave,
He is resting now in a hero's grave,
He followed the path of duty,
He answered his country's call;
He died, an Australian soldier,
The greatest death of all.
