Son of William John and Ethel Maud Fisher; husband of Edith Isabell Fisher; father of Margaret Fisher
Plane was Baltimore 1V FA 574 which took off at 0800 hours to do a recco of the South Eastern Aegean Sea but crashed off Dispani, Scarpanto. Three of the crew were killed re remaining crew members were taken Prisoners of War.
