Alan Kenneth FLEAY was born in Katanning, Western Australia on 17th February, 1921

His parents were James Augustus FLEAY & Margaret McKENZIE who married in Katanning in 1920

He married Joyce MILLEN in All Saints Anglican Church, WA on 7th April, 1945

Prior to joining the RAAF 4 Operational Training Unit in Williamstown on 22nd April, 1942 he had joined the CMF on 27th September, 1937 (Service No. 249799)
