Son of John George Flynn and Elizabeth Ewart Flynn; Husband of Thelma Mae Flynn, of Surat, Queensland

Corporal James George Flynn was killed in action during the 25th battalion’s advance down the Buin Road in Bougainville on 19th March 1945. At the time of his death he was 28 years of age. He was buried in the field.
