On 18/12/42 one of the members of the 3SQN advance ground crew jumped out of their truck on to an enemy 'S' mine at Marble Arch Landing Ground - 3 men were killed outright with 2 others passing away soon after.  Buried at Benghazi War Cemetery, Libya are:
