Frederick Macara GLOVER was born in Marrickville, Sydney on 2nd February, 1918

His parents were Richard Sydney GLOVER & Mary Lyle ROSS who married in Pitt St Congregational Church , Sydney on 1st October, 1910

He was taken as a POW on 29th March, 1943 & died of illness in Borneo on 18th June 1945 whilst a prisoner of war of the Japanese - no known grave

His name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial, the POW Memorial, Ballarat, Victoria, the Burwood Sandakan Memorial in Sydney & the Labuan Memorial
