Flying Officer Goodwin 413985 was lost at sea near Morotai in the Netherlands East Indies - his body was not recovered and he is commemorated on the Ambon Memorial

He was flying Kittyhawk A29-1057 from Labuan to Oakey as part of the Number 2 Aircraft Depot (Richmond) Ferry Flight
