Terence Harry GORDON-GLASSFORD was born in Melbourne, Victoria on 31st July, 1915

His parents were Torre Harry GORDON-GLASSFORD & Doris PLEASANTS

He enlisted in Sydney on 18th September, 1940

He died in a Flying Battle in the Mediterranean Sea on 21st January, 1943 while in a Vickers Wellington Bomber HX690  V111 with the 179 Squadron of the RAF which took off from Gibraltar during the evening of 21st January, 1943 on an anti submarine patrol over the Mediterranean Sea

There was no communication from the Wellington after it had taken flight from its Gibraltar base and it never returned to base

His name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial & the Malta Memorial
