Pilot Officer Thomas Frederick Gledhill 408838 (Pilot) and Sergeant Clifford Roy Gould 210009 (Wireless Operator / Gunner) of Number 24 Squadron were killed when Wirraway A20-84 crashed and burnt out on Mount Louisa two miles from Garbutt
