Flight Sergeant Goulder MiD 403693 in Kittyhawk FS423 of 3SQN was killed when his aircraft was hit by small arms fire over Riposto and crashed near Mount Etna on Sicily - his body was not recovered and he is commemorated on the Malta Memorial, Panel 11, column 2

He was in a group of twelve aircraft that took off to strafe enemy transport in the area of Giardini / Riposto in northern Sicily
