Son of Charles and Sybil Audrey Govey; husband of Ellen Augusta Govey, of West Brunswick, Victoria.
"GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN"
Douglas enlsited at Bendigo at the age of 19 years and was in the Militia for 12 months before war broke out. He was a keen bicycle rider in the Heathcote district. His father is a a wood merchant at Redesdale.
