Fletcher enjoyed Tennis, Cricket and Rifle Shooting.

KAARIMBA SOCIAL TO AIRMAN On Thursday night a large gathering of people assembled at the Kaarimba hall to honor Pilot Fletcher Green, who has been spending leave with his people at "Craig-a-lea," Mundoona. Mr. McPherson spoke on behalf of the Welfare committee and referred to Pilot Fletcher's sterling qualities and wished him the best of luck. Mr. J. Patterson and Mr. R. Twitt also spoke. The presentation was made by Cr. Moss. Pilot Fletcher, who looked very smart in his uni-form suitably responded.

Mrs G. Green, of Mundoona, has received word that her youngest son, Flight Sergeant Fletcher Green, who was reported missing on June 12, 1943, has died, and that he was buried on June 16 at Amsterdam (Holland). Fletcher was 23 years of age, and enlisted two years before his death. The sympathy of her friends has gone out in generous measure to Mrs Green in the loss of a brave son.

Fletcher Green Presumed Dead
Mrs A. I. Green, of Mundoona, has received word from the Air Board that it has now been presumed that her son, Flight-Sergeant Fletcher Green, who had previously been reported missing, was killed on June 12 last. 

NOTICE is hereby given, that after the expiration of fourteen clear days from the publication hereof application will be made to the Supreme Court of the State of Victoria, in its Probate jurisdiction, that PROBATE of the WILL, dated the twenty-sixth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, of FLETCHER WILLIAM RANDALL GREEN late of the Royal Australian Air Force abroad, deceased, may be granted to George Douglas Green and Arthur Binns, (in the said will called Athur Binns), both of Mundoona, via Wunghnu, in the saidState, farmers, the executors named in and State, farmers, the executors named in and appointed by the said will.
