Vaudan Dufty HEGGATON was born in Murrumburrah, NSW on 22nd June 1903
His parents were Rupert Dufty HEGGATON & Elizabeth Louisa BURGESS
He married Cora PATFIELD on 6th February, 1930 in St Agathas Roman Catholic Church in Clayfield in Queensland
He died of Illness whilst a prisoner of war on 27th October, 1942

His father Rupert Duffy HEGGATON served as a Captain during WW1 in the Australian Army Medical Corps and returned to Australia in 1917
His brother Knox William HEGGATON (SN 402924) served during WW2 in the RAAF and died on 11th May, 1942 (59 Squadron)
