Son of Richard Harris Moreton Hosking and Mary Eliza Hosking, of Crawford, Queensland, Australia.
HOSKING. — In proud and loving memory of our dear son and brother, Able Seaman Trevis Mayne Hosking, 23005, who lost his life on a Japanese transport, September 12, 1944.

HOSKING - In proud and loving memory of our dear Son and Brother, Ab Seaman Trevis Mayne Hosking 23005, who lost his life on Japanese Transport 'Rakuyo Maru,' when sunk by Allied submarines in September, 1944.
The sea has made a noble grave for
heroes on her bed.
No stone can mark his place, nor can
his history be read.
But there he rests, and maybe God has
written on the waves,
That He can scan the records of his
deeds upon the grave.
He knows. He blesses every one. He
tends him as his own.
When the sea gives up her secrets
every hero will be known.
