Flying Officer Knight 2762 in Tomahawk AN285 of 3SQN was killed when his aircraft was shot down 50 miles south of Gazala - his body was not recovered and he is commemorated on the Alamein Memorial, Egypt

His parents were Evelyn Vernon KNIGHT & Ina Beresford MARTIN who married in Tasmania in 1910
