Sergeant John Campbell Lawrence 411150 & Aircraftman Kenneth James Barnwell 20161 were killed after their aircraft Wirraway A20-183 struck Wirraway A20-207 in mid-air when returning to formation after a bombing exercise.  Wirraway A20-183 crashed 5 miles north of Kingaroy, Queensland
